And it’s cheaper and easier to find which can be a big plus when I need it for a job. But it’s also water and weather resistant. It’s a slightly weaker version of Fuze It Max that sets up a little slower. The next best thing is Liquid Nails Fuze It. The bond is super strong, it sets up really fast and it’s water and weather resistant. The best adhesive for brick is Liquid Nails Fuze It Max. But I’ve done it many times with great success and have never seen the adhesive fail. It’s hard to say for sure exactly how long bricks glued with Liquid Nails will last because there are so many variables. Without outside forces weakening Liquid Nail’s bond, there’s no reason for the glue to come undone. If you glue brick in a controlled environment where the materials don’t get wet and temperatures are more steady, you can expect a much longer hold from the adhesive. Movement caused by moisture soaking into and then evaporating out of the material not only can cause damage over time but it can also weaken the adhesive bond. If the material you glue brick to gets wet a lot or is exposed to the freeze/thaw cycle then it probably won’t stick as long.
